In the grand scheme of national happenings on Jan. 6, 2021, this is small, as I don’t think anyone was hurt. That said, a big a** BOOM rocked our building today that ended up with a three or four-car collision.
I wasn’t there when this happened, but I think I young person ran the red light and triggered a chain reaction. Thank goodness the person that works in the office that got smacked wasn’t there at the time.
As you can see from the 2nd pic, our Market Center location is stellar. We are in the center of everything and our REALTORS can be on their way to anything Downtown, Lexington, Irmo, Chapin, Lake Murray, and NE Columbia super fast. That said, we have a lot of lanes zooming by our office (which is awesome!) from Huger St. coming off of I-126, and the one-way section of Taylor Street.
When “location, location, location” equates to “traffic count,” I suppose this is inevitable every now and then.
I haven’t heard of any injuries and hope everyone is OK!
