As many of you know, I use this blog as a platform to showcase our downtown Columbia, SC listings. Tonight, however, I find myself typing from a buyer’s perspective.
What I’m getting at is that one of my Shandon listings is Under Contract, and not contingent upon anything else selling. Yay! Fist bumps and “Congratulations” shouted, the sellers are now in a predicament as they have no where to go. While this is a fantastic “problem,” it’s an uncomfortable/unfinished situation.
In short, I need a move-in ready, four bedroom home zoned for Brennen or Satchel Ford Elementary School. While Amanda and I have our fingers on the pulse of the downtown Columbia market, I’m not too naive to think we know 100% of everything. If we find something fast, it will be a win/win situation. If not, my folks will just have to rent for a spell while we look for just the right thing.
