Heads up a level vacant lot just hit Columbia’s market for sale for under 100K!
This morning, Meredith Honeycutt, and I put 206 Highhill Drive on the market in the Woodhill Crest Neighborhood for $89,900.
Woodhill Crest is a pretty small, exclusive Downtown, Columbia, SC neighborhood just off of the Garner’s Ferry Corridor. The neighborhood was slow to take off because of “timing,” (the great recession) but Woodhill Crest has caught its stride as more homesites are now being built.
Woodhill Crest was a product of Wildcat Creek Development, which some years prior put King’s Grant on the scene, which was also slow to develop, respectively. That all said, a Downtown lot for $89,000 is an opportunity for a lot of people to build an expansive, executive style home. Think of it, vacant lots less than a half-mile or so away or whatever are fetching double and triple this number. The other way to get a Downtown lot is to raze an existing dwelling to build a new home for double or triple the amount…to attend Hand/Dreher. I’m not selling you, I’m telling you, this is a path to own a new, large home for a wildly different number than is currently available. You can see that folks are catching on to this simply by paying attention to the activity and uptick in recent construction in the neighborhood.
If you or anyone you know would like to know more about this half-acre lot in Woodhill Crest Neighborhood, please call/text Meredith at 803-319-7649 or email her @ Meredith@TheNeighborhoodRE.com.
Thank you!
Franklin Jones
