Profilin’ Liz Black Fischer!

As many readers and friends know, Liz Black (very recently changed to Liz Black Fischer) and I have a special relationship. I have known Liz since she was three years old, as she is my late wife’s niece.

I will save that larger story for another day, but in the meantime, I need you to get to know Liz the outstanding and killer REALTOR who closed 30 deals her first year!

Liz’s answers to some fun questions are interesting. It’s obvious she loves Columbia and her USC Gamecocks!

I want to point out one thing that she omitted in her answers. She chose to mention that she is left-handed instead of telling you that she’s a multi-time winner on the South Carolina pageant circuit & also a former Miss South Carolina contestant! #modesty

Favorite Street In Columbia – “Devine Street! All roads lead to home! Devine Street will take me all the way to my hometown, my current home, my church, my favorite places to shop and into Downtown Columbia.”

Favorite Restaurant In Columbia – Thirsty Fellow – Located between KWP (Keller Williams Palmetto) office and Founders Park. I spend a lot of my time in between both places so Thirsty Fellow is not only conveniently located but very delicious!

Favorite  Annual Event – South Carolina vs Clemson baseball series. The neutral-site game this year will be played at Segra Park! The neutral-site game has traditionally been played in Greenville. I am so excited to show off Columbia and Segra Park to fans who are coming into town for the game.

Who Is Someone You Admire & Why? Ellen DeGeneres – Ellen has had a successful career, given back to others and has stayed true to who she is all while making us laugh.

What Is Something Most People Don’t Know About You? – I’m left-handed! Both of my parents are as well. I didn’t like being left-handed as a child but now it’s one of my favorite conversations starters.

Favorite City Outside of Columbia, SC – Minneapolis, MN in the summertime, otherwise Nashville, TN.

Favorite Sports Teams Or Players/Athletes – All Gamecocks sports…even cllub level. I’m ALWAYS pulling for the Gamecocks.

Name a Daily Habit (other than showering and brushing teeth) – Daily gratitude journal, every morning I write down three things that I’m thankful for from the day prior. it’s made me look for the good in every single day and more appreciative for the little things in life. Things as small as not having to wait in a long line at the grocery store to big things like finding the right home for my clients.

What Are Some Causes You Care About? – I’m a proud member of The Junior League of Columbia. I love being a part of the organization. I’m able to help my community through volunteerism and fundraising.
