One of the most frequently asked questions I’m getting these days is, “Do you know what’s going on behind QT?” While I thought word was on the street some years ago, I suppose since there has been almost no action, it’s been out of sight, out of mind.
Fast forward to Spring of 2026, things are happening big time.
When I posted the image above a couple of years ago, the REALTOR facilitating the deal was quick to call me and explain that the hotel and restaurant weren’t on the immediate plan. That said, they are on the rendering. There will also be a new traffic light at the QT & Ft. Jackson Blvd.
So the answer is, construction has begun on the 260 apartment units behind the QT at Exit 10 of I-77 & Fort Jackson Blvd.
