Heads Up to Readers! The most Popular event outside of a USC Football Game is only a couple of weeks away. As many of my friends know, St. Patrick’s Day has Long been one of my favorite events of the year.
Looks like the FIVe Points association needs some help picking some entertainment, and The state newspaper is helping to get the word out. See List of bands and article below, and have fun!

Six bands are battling it out for the chance to play the big stage at St. Pat’s in Five Points on Saturday, March 19, and they need your vote.
The Five Points Association received 28 band entries, and an anonymous panel of judges narrowed the field to six. Online voting will determine the winner.
The winning band will be awarded a time slot to perform on the Miller Lite Stage and a four-hour recording studio session with the Jam Room Recording Studio in Columbia.
Voting ends at midnight Thursday, March 3, and the winner will be announced at the Fountain Division of W.P. Law’s Official Kick-Off on Friday, March 4.
