A few days ago we put 305 Dean Hall Lane on the market for sale. This home is located on a fun street in the popular Hampton Trace neighborhood.
“Dean Hall” has 1,922 square feet, with 3 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths. As you can tell from the pics, this is a sharp, move-in ready home.
As most of my clients know, I coach that a certain day is better to hit the market than another. That said, this seller hit the road to Disney World last week. In my thinking this would be the perfect time for the house to enter MLS. After all, the home was vacant for a few days, and vacant homes are super easy for Realtors to show. What happened? BOOM! “Snow World” stopped everything in the Midlands. Since Monday is a Federal holiday and the kids are still out of school, Columbia, SC commerce is still out of whack. What does this mean? 305 Dean Hall didn’t get the ‘new to market pop’ our listings usually enjoy. I need to make up the difference.

Some of you know we represented the buyer and seller of the home on the corner across the street (300 Dean Hall). The listing didn’t last even a few weeks, which is indicative of the popularity of the street and neighborhood. Given it’s condition, location, and curb appeal, I don’t expect 305 Dean Hall Lane to be on the market long.
