Keller Williams Real Estate’s Mega Camp ==> Mega Relief.

Many of our friends and clients read Amanda’s Facebook Status update today. It was exciting, heartfelt, meaningful, real, and accurate.

It gives me great pride to read how much she loves our national brand, but that’s a story for a different day. What gives us all bursting enthusiasm is that KW is transferring its 2nd largest annual gathering of the year, Mega Camp, to Mega Relief.

What does this mean, exactly? We’re not sure. That said, I know the largest and biggest producing real estate teams in the world will be in Austin, thirsty to learn from the #1 training company in the world, pivot in some way to disaster relief.

More to come I’m sure, but at present Amanda, Craig, and I, along with other awesome KW Realtors from the Midlands and other Regions of South Carolina, are proud to work for such a wonderful company and excited for whatever is in front of us as we travel to Austin, TX.

You can see Amanda’s post and the letter we all received from Keller Williams today.

Thank you!

I already loved Keller Williams for their profit share, training, and team building. Thought I couldn’t love a company more, then just got an email that our annual mega agent camp in Austin is being renamed mega relief. Instead of 3 days of training we will all get a chance to help flood victims. Just made my day. See ya in Austin!!!

Dear Keller Williams Family,

Over the past 24 hours, we have received hundreds of phone calls, emails and questions on social media regarding Mega Camp plans and Hurricane Harvey relief. And once again, we are humbled by the incredible heart of our Keller Williams family.

Earlier this week, we learned that Austin would be welcoming evacuees from the storm and creating a shelter out of the Austin Convention Center. While we were assured that this would not affect Mega Camp, the uncertainty of the situation and potential impact on evacuees required decisive leadership.

As KW Cares and other organizations were gathering resources and mobilizing volunteers, and YOU expressed such a heartfelt desire and intention to help, our decision was clear. We have an opportunity to serve a much greater purpose during the Mega Camp week.

Mega Camp is pivoting this year …

We still plan to see you in Austin, but we’ll be welcoming you instead to MEGA RELIEF!

We are making plans for thousands of Keller Williams associates from around the world to team up with community partners to make a major impact in people’s lives. If you are registered for Mega Camp, please be on the lookout tomorrow for more information about this incredible opportunity to show the world who Keller Williams is and what we can achieve together.

In the meantime, we thank you. Your outpouring of support for our Keller Williams family members affected by this storm has been incredible. In less than 48 hours, YOU have pledged more than $4 million dollars toward KWCares Harvey Relief. The need is great and we are determined to raise many millions more!

Let’s make a difference.
