I can’t verify but this may be the first time that I can remember having two King’s Grant homes Under Contract at the same time. As you can imagine I rushed to put SOLD signs in the front yards within hours of putting the deals together.
The two homes are completely different. 70 Somerton is a former Parade of Homes participant, almost overly spotless and backs up to the woods side of Somerton Place. This home will be the new flagship of the neighborhood in regards to future comps.
2 Tombee Ct. is a stately home in the middle of King’s Grant. This home is about 3,030 sq. ft. and has the prime location of backing up to the popular walking trail.
I’m obviously proud but moreover I’m just happy for the neighborhood. For a few months there were too many homes on the market in King’s Grant and price/ft slipped a tinch. Now that 70 Somerton Place will close at $176/ft., things should be back in order and other homes will enjoy this comp for any upcoming appraisals.
