Early October Real Estate Action.

TaylorsHill124Edisto403Sherwood1401This time of year I get asked a lot, “Is this a good time to put a house on the market?” While it is true that stats and theories tell us there are more buyers churning in the spring and early summer, that doesn’t mean homes don’t sell in the other months of the year. The pics above are a good snapshot of what’s closed in the last couple of days – in the second week of October.

124 Taylor’s Hill @ The Battery at Arsenal Hill, 403 Edisto Ave. @ Wales Garden, 1401 Sherwood Rd. @ Forest Hills, and 712 King’s Grant
all closed in the last two or three days and are a perfect illustration of what’s going on in Columbia’s marketplace. In short, closings are happening at all price levels @ Downtown Columbia, SC.

Be patient when you are first starting out. Getting the first deal done can take longer than expected. There may not be any decent properties available, or you might be finding the terms not to your liking. Don’t rush into anything. That’s just wasting your money. Take a step back and wait for the right property to show itself.
