Fun Times @The Oyster Bar! Thank You!

OysterBarOysterBar1As some of you know it kinda bothers me to disrupt the frequency of posting on the blog. If I can help it, I rarely skip more than two or three business nights without writing about something. Well, Thursday night Amanda and I threw our 2nd annual “Thank You!” party at The Oyster Bar which means I got home really late, and posting on a Friday night doesn’t make much sense.

In 2012 Amanda and I (along w/ team manager, Amy Cartin) closed 100 homes by the end of July. We were proud of the accomplishment (obviously). To celebrate the feat we rented out The Oyster Bar from 6-9PM and invited the clients, referral sources, lender partners, and closers that made it all happen. We all had a huge time as everyone wrapped around the venue and filled up on bowls/pecks of oysters, shrimp, scallops, grits…and cocktails. It was a hit.

Fast forward to 2013, the team (which has since grown a little) hit 100 closings by May 15. Unheard of, in my mind. So unheard of in fact, we decided to scrap the “100 Closings” theme all together and focus more on, “Thank You!”

The pics above are taken from The Mother Shucker’s (Owner of The Oyster Bar) iPhone. I can tell the pics were snapped rather early in the evening because my twin carrying wife is in the 2nd shot. Next year I think I’ll have a photographer there!! haha.

I can’t convey through this keyboard how humbled we are. As you can see, we have a lot of fun working together and strive to produce every single day. There’s nothing better than knowing our clients are happy with our efforts. That said, we know we have a lot of work to do!!!

Thank you for the break on the blog!! My next post will be about a sharp new listing on Girardeau (Forest Hills) that’s scheduled to hit the market this week.

Thank you so much, and thank you for being the best real estate network in South Carolina!
