2 REALTORS, 1 Team Manager; Not Bad!

When Amanda joined me (and Amy) at Coldwell Banker – Midtown, neither one of us quite knew what we were getting into. If you remember from past blog posts, Amanda and I put together a hybrid business model, moved her files, trophies, and plaques over to CB-Midtown and went to work. Sure we were friends and whatnot, but truthfully, neither of us knew what to expect. History reviewed, by the time you read this post Friday, we will have closed on our 150th property “side” in 2012.

In the middle of August I noticed we were closing in on 100 transactions for the year. At the time, it was surreal, and perhaps record-breaking. As a “Thank You!” to our clients, we hosted our buyers, sellers, and referral sources to dinner and drinks at The Oyster Bar in The Vista. Good Times! Fast forward to today. Whoa.

To be totally precise, we hit the 150 mark sometime last week. For technical reasons, some “sides” don’t make the CMLS count. For instance, a few days ago we represented both sides of a closing on Butler Street in Melrose Heights. Even though we didn’t get credit in CMLS, a sign is in the front yard with the coveted red “SOLD” rider on top! Logistics notwithstanding, I didn’t want to claim such a huge benchmark before anyone not privy to our files could “see” the actual statistics, per MLS.

From past posts on this blog, combined with our marketing and advertising, many might get the impression all our sales are for big #s in Shandon, Forest Acres, Heathwood, The Hamptons, or King’s Grant. This is not the case. Many of our 150 are under $100,000, and/or $50,000. In short, if it’s “real estate,” and has a tax map number, we will go for it!

Next up? Pickett St. in Melrose Heights, a vacant lot in Kingston Harbour, and Huspah Lane in King’s Grant will close out our October.

I can’t convey through this keyboard how proud I am of our production. The best way I know how to celebrate is to wake up tomorrow, and continue to do what we’re doing. After all, there are still two months in 2012!

This all said, I wouldn’t be a good Realtor if I didn’t include a “call to action” and ask for your business and referrals. Here goes! If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of our team, momentum, and our brand of real estate, please call or email fjones@cbunited.com or amandaqpayne@live.com .

For the record, all three of us are “REALTORS.”  A more accurate title to this post might read, “Two Salespeople, One Team Manager…”

Thank you!!
