While there are more pressing issues and circumstances going on in the world, that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate wonderful accomplishments when they come along.
There is a lot to this story, locally and nationally, but I have to give a shout-out to Marti Bedell. She is and was a top-producing local REALTOR that I didn’t know well and didn’t do many deals with. I’m not sure of this, but she may have built the first real estate team in the Midlands. I was young and trying to sell my face off, and didn’t listen very well the first time KW came calling. Marti and I were at different points in our careers, too, I suppose. What I’m trying to say is that I didn’t know what I didn’t know, and Marti did, opening the first KW franchise in the Midlands.
Only 10 or so years ago there was a catchphrase, “Keller, Who?” Today, Keller Williams Realty is the largest real estate company in the U.S. with over 180,000 REALTORS and three “Market Center” franchises in the Midlands.
Last week the top-producing REALTORS were awarded the Circle of Excellence Awards by our local Central Carolina Association of REALTORS.
Of the tons of real estate companies in The Midlands, Keller Williams REALTORS received 33 COE awards among three offices, 2nd only to the company that currently has 45 recipients among seven offices, respectively.
To qualify for the Central Carolina REALTORS Association “Circle of Excellence,” the REALTOR must achieve a certain level of production, sales volume or units sold, combined with a level of participation within the Association for the year.
Congratulations to all of the 173 Circle of Excellence Winners of over 4,000 real estate professionals! I am particularly proud of our KW Palmetto recipients (pics above in no particular order) and honored and happy to be in business with you!
